- 01While we don’t require it, we highly recommend it as a way to speed up your child’s progress. Think of us as the "specialist" and you as the "expert" on your own child. Parent training is an optional resource we provide to help you feel confident using the same strategies we use, ensuring your child’s new skills flourish at home, on holiday, and in the community.
- 02Our goal is to make your day-to-day routines easier. Even if you only join a few sessions, we can focus on "quick wins"—like making the morning school run smoother or helping your child communicate their needs at dinner without a meltdown. It’s about giving you a "behavioral toolkit" that reduces stress for the whole family.
- 03We understand that family life is a balancing act. Because this is an optional service, we can tailor it to your schedule. Whether it's a bi-monthly check-in or a deep dive into a specific challenge you're facing this month, we work at your pace. You decide the level of involvement that feels right for your family.
- 04Absolutely. While we usually suggest areas based on your child’s data to align the learning progress, we prioritize what matters most to you. If you want to focus on bedtime routines one month and going to the playground the next, we adapt our coaching to meet those specific family goals.
- 05The biggest benefit is consistency. When a child sees the same encouragement and boundaries at home as they do in therapy, they learn significantly faster. Our most successful outcomes often happen when the "ABA toolkit" is shared between our team and the family, creating a predictable and supportive world for the child. This in turn results in long-term success.
