ABAT TRAINING COURSE
Applied Behavior Analysis Technician® (ABAT®)
An ABAT refers to someone who implements ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a professional who is certified within the scope of ABA and Autism. ABATs provide behavioral intervention in home, community and school settings to increase communication, social, play, academic and daily living skills, while reducing problematic behaviors. To obtain the ABAT credential, applicants must complete approved coursework through 40-hours of training and meet the 15 hours of supervised fieldwork.
The ABAT credential is delivered by the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA). QABA is internationally accredited by ANSI. Through the ABAT certification program, the community is able to identify and access qualified individuals to provide quality ABA therapy to clients with Autism.
SEED Autism Services is an Approved Coursework Provider for ABAT.
