Based in Malaysia, we provide early intervention, supervision, workshops, training courses and other resources for children with Autism. We believe in using evidence-based practice of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in our programs to improve the quality of life in our children.
All our Program Supervisors are fully trained, experienced and credentialled in ABA and Autism. They are all Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs, BCaBAs, QBAs or QASP-S) while all our therapists are Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) / Applied Behavior Analysis Technicians (ABATs) or currently undergoing the certification process. This means that the team that works with your child is not limited to their personal experience and are constantly updating themselves with relevant, current best practices using internationally approved standards in the field of Autism intervention.
From language and literacy development to social skills and creative expression, our kids are exposed to activities and skills that are designed to meet their individual goals. We build on the strengths and interests of each child, as well as help to manage behaviors and reduce any barriers in learning so we can build a learning foundation for them. Ultimately, our mission is to help improve the children's quality of life so they may succeed in learning environments that are suitable for them, be it in 1:1 sessions, EIP classes, homeschools or traditional mainstream schools.
SEED Autism Services has trained over 300 therapists and parents locally, in West and East Malaysia through its RBT and ABAT training courses. Over the years, we have also had international participants from Philippines, Cambodia, Mauritius, Maldives and Bangladesh.
All our course instructors are fully qualified to train teachers, paraprofessionals and parents in the field of Autism and ABA. Since year 2017, we had run 15 successful intakes of RBT training. In 2022, we were appointed as an Approved Coursework Provider by QABA. Under QABA, we are currently offering the ABAT Training Program. As at end of Q3 2024, we have trained 12 intakes of ABAT students.
We will also be launching the QASP-S Training Program in 2025.
