In this final episode of Season 2, Alexa spoke to Dr. Shyielathy Arumugam, an experienced Special Education Teacher from the Ministry of Education, who is now serving in a mainstream public school in Ipoh, Perak. Tune in to find out how she advocates for her special needs students, and how she transitions her special needs students from PPKI (Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi) to the mainstream classroom. She also shares with us what can special needs teachers do to support mainstream teachers during this transition process, and how all students have the right to request for shadow aide in the classrooms if needed!
